This Role:

The fundamental responsibility of the marketing coordinator is to manage projects that support strategies developed by the Company to increase brand awareness and sales. A successful candidate should be an energetic self-starter with demonstrated experience and/or education in a corporate marketing function. Duties include, but are not limited to:

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Project management, including developing timelines, holding kickoff meetings, tracking project progress, understanding and communicating project statuses to the team and management, and coordinating team resources in order to deliver impactful marketing tools that meet deadliness
  • Select and adapt existing marketing messaging to fulfill the need of the marketing projects he/she is assigned
  • Manage and optimize customer and product data related to marketing projects he/she is assigned
  • Distribute emails and update website as necessary with tools created as part of the projects he/she is assigned
  • Manage project related vendors and fees, including vendor identification and relations, writing purchase orders, tracking expenses and submitting invoices for payment
  • Works collaboratively with all members of the department and outside the department to ensure deadlines are being met
  • Track and report effectiveness of projects assigned as well as provide recommendations for testing and optimizing for the future
  • Organize marketing projects assigned for efficient and timely execution
  • Gather and compile industry, customer, competitive and market trends as needed
  • Attend tradeshows and other customer shows to support the company as needed
  • Perform other duties as required

Skills And Knowledge:

  • Exceptional attention to detail, with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well independently with direction and as part of a larger team
  • Fast learner with creative problem solving skills
  • Ability to work well with, and take direction from, a variety of people
  • Ability to assess priorities and manage time and resources accordingly
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Skills And Knowledge:

  • 1-2 years minimum experience in a marketing function
  • BS/BA in Marketing or related field required
