Trimark appoints two new National Sales Managers
Today, I am announcing three significant changes to our Trimark sales structure and organization. These changes are designed to enhance our management team and also provide additional support to our field representatives. The new structure will allow me personally to be more focused on our total sales development, and specific incentives and programs for our strategic national accounts.
First, Mark Alexander has been promoted to our National Sales Manager – Corporate Channel, effective January 1, 2013. During the past 2 years, Mark has managed and developed our golf and resort retail sales team, which has been one of our largest growth areas with sales increases over 25%. Mark's ability to execute strategic plans, plus his industry knowledge and experience will no doubt be an asset to our most important corporate channel.
In addition to the changes to the Corporate Channel I have also decided to combine our Golf & Resort channel with our Team & University channel, so that we can consolidate the leadership.
These channels are significant growth areas and I have therefore promoted Rocky Dundas to become our National Sales Manager – Retail Division, effective January 1, 2013. Rocky has an entrepreneurial spirit, which has resulted in significant growth in our Team and University markets and we look forward to his leadership across a larger base of customers.
Lastly, Chad Maybury, a 13-year veteran of Trimark will be leaving our sales team, effective December 1st. Chad began his career with Trimark as a Customer Service Representative and then became one of our in-house Sales Representatives in Toronto in 2002. Between now and December 1st, Chad remains loyal to Trimark, as we are to Chad, and together we are committed to ensure there is a smooth transition for you during your busiest season. In mid-November, Mark Alexander and I will formally announce the changes to our GTA representation. In closing, please join me in congratulating both Mark and Rocky on their new roles and wishing Chad all the best in his future endeavours.
